Both routes are impressive, but they differ significantly in character. That is why you will find the most important differences here directly visible as cards.
The classic liveaboards in the north of the Red Sea lead to some of Egypt’s most famous dive sites.
Highlights include Ras Mohammed, Tiran, Abu Nuhas and the wreck of the Thistlegorm. These tours combine spectacular reefs, wreck diving and large schools of fish.
The south tours are among the most spectacular liveaboards in the Red Sea and lead to remote offshore reefs.
Famous spots include Daedalus Reef, Rocky Island, Zabargad and Elphinstone. Here you have a good chance of seeing hammerheads, oceanic whitetips and other big fish.
Not only the route determines the character of a liveaboard, but also the atmosphere underwater: wrecks, blue water, schools of fish, wide visibility and the feeling of diving far out at sea.
The north tours combine history, structure and atmosphere underwater – especially at legendary wrecks such as the Thistlegorm.
Especially on offshore routes, this special liveaboard feeling develops: open sea, clear visibility and impressive dives far away from the coast.
On selected southern routes, encounters with oceanic whitetips, hammerheads and other pelagic species can be among the most impressive moments.
A liveaboard is more than just diving. Life on board, the atmosphere within the group and the special moments between dives are also what make these trips so unforgettable.
The start of a liveaboard begins with anticipation, good organisation and that special feeling that several intense diving days in the Red Sea are about to begin.
After the last dive of the day, the Red Sea often shows its calmest and most beautiful side – with sunset, sea views and a relaxed atmosphere on deck.
Liveaboards thrive on a good atmosphere, shared experiences and a well-coordinated team. That is exactly what makes the time on board so special for many guests.
Our next planned liveaboard leads to the legendary offshore reefs of the southern Red Sea.
02–09 May 2026 – one of the most spectacular liveaboards in the Red Sea. This route leads to the famous offshore reefs Daedalus, Rocky Island and Zabargad. With a bit of luck, you may encounter hammerheads, oceanic whitetips and large schools of fish along impressive walls.
Changes to the route are possible at any time for safety reasons or due to weather or authority requirements.
You do not have to give up comfort on board either. Our liveaboard boats offer bright, well-maintained and modern cabins for relaxing nights between dives – from spacious suites to comfortable double cabins.
Spacious suite with plenty of daylight, sea view and high-quality furnishings – ideal for guests who want to enjoy special comfort on their liveaboard in the Red Sea.
Functional, clean and cosy: these cabins with two single beds are ideal for friends, dive buddies or solo travellers who want to enjoy their safari comfortably.
Bright double cabin with a pleasant atmosphere and immediate feel-good factor – perfect for couples or guests looking for a quiet and cosy accommodation on their safari.
In addition to life on board, the underwater world is above all the reason why liveaboards in the Red Sea are a true highlight for many divers.
The reefs around Hurghada and along the liveaboard routes are known for their variety of colours and impressive biodiversity.
While diving, you often encounter sea turtles gliding calmly above the coral reefs and making every dive even more special.
In addition to larger fish, you will also find many exciting macro creatures such as octopuses, moray eels and shrimps.
Giant coral formations shape many dive sites in the Red Sea and create impressive underwater landscapes.
Coral gardens, walls and wrecks provide varied dives on a liveaboard in different regions of the Red Sea.
With a bit of luck, you may also observe sharks and other large marine creatures on a liveaboard – an experience that stays in your memory for a long time.
